Abraham Lincoln Memorialized with LEGOs

 

Lincolniana is Abraham Lincoln memorabilia and ephemera in a variety of formats, ranging from the serious and scholarly, to the outright silly and satirical. This website showcases Lincoln, from politics to pop culture. Surely, LEGO is one of the pop hits of our culture.

LEGO builders have used both off-the-shelf and custom LEGO bricks and decals to create the image of our 16th president. This custom LEGO Abraham Lincoln, complete with that infamous facial mole, is available on Amazon.com:

Other LEGO sculptures include the Lincoln Memorial and Mt. Rushmore, also at LEGOland California. You can get an idea for scale if you notice the real-life blue recycle and trash bins in the background of the Lincoln Memorial.

This photo of Mt. Rushmore was taken from a boat that does a tour of LEGOland. Of course, it's miniature compared to the real thing, but it is one of the larger sculptures at LEGOland.
