Mathew Brady captured Tad with his father in the Brady studio in February, 1864. The picture has since become one of the most popular father-son portraits ever. This picture is the only portrait of Lincoln which portrays him wearing glasses.
The U.S. Postal Service used the Brady portrait on the 20 cent stamp issued October 16, 1984, titled, "A Nation of Readers."
In 2009, Topps released 100 cards in the Hero's Journey Stamp series that depict the Nation of Readers stamp. The card is number HJS-AL18. Odds were 1:372 packs.
